Plant Description and Details

Sulphur Buckwheat finds its niche in droughty areas and blooms where it's planted, making it an up-and-coming landscape plant. Whimsical yellow flower clusters nod in the mid-summer breeze, held on stems a foot above the leaves. You'll also enjoy the low-growing, rounded leaves. They'll form a mat, reaching 40" wide in 3-5 years. The wooly leaves persist through the winter, adding a touch of textural interest to the landscape.
