Plant Description and Details
Firecracker Penstemon - what a fitting name! It rockets several stems up to 3 ft. before bursting into vibrant red bloom. It is native to the south-erly west, but has moved northward, because it's such an eye-catching addition to seeded revegetation projects. Try it as part of a naturalized desert planting or along a fence or sunny border.
