Plant Description and Details

Bluebunch wheatgrass can be seen around much of the western U.S. It's of moderate size, about 3' tall when headed. Each plant is a blue-green bunch of foliage topped by slender staw-colored seed heads fromsummer through fall. A large stand of Bluebunch Wheatgrass will undulate in the wind, simulating ocean waves.
