Purple Sage comes well-equipped to handle drought, cold, and rocky or sandy soil. Those are just the utilitarian features! This silvery-leaved, semi-evergreen, small shrub sends out frilly lavendar flowers set in deep purple bracts (modified leaves).Minty aroma adds to its charm, as do the bees and butterflies that come to visit.
